Spring - it's a long way off

I correspond with a few bloggers who all seem to be entering the spring season....flowers beginning to bloom, snow just about gone, warmer days, etc.
This is my reality. This is my driveway and my snowberm. And my brown rose bush just off the left of the front door. It looks so sad without flowers.

In the past week we've had temperatures as low as 10 degrees and 6 inches of snow. Spring feels a l-o-n-g way off. In fact, I can remember getting a light snow on May 5 one year. So I keep that in mind. I don't get my hopes up. I know we've still got at least a month to go, maybe two.
Don't mind me. I'm just having a pity party. Attended by no one but me.

Sorry. It's chilly here but at least we don't have huge mounds of snow anymore. The muck in our driveway from last week has left hardened ruts. Weather man says maybe snow on our way or maybe it will miss us.

Maybe you should have a Sunday confession about that sometime...how it used to be two colors!

Oh, but I love the snow and ice winter scenes about your life! You are able to post and allow others to see the beauty of your pleasant dwelling places....

The drift in our front yard is still about three feet tall, but not nearly as impressive (nor as white!) as yours.

If it makes you feel better, Wednesday night is supposed to be below zero. This after we finish going through another snowstorm.

Yes, whine whine whine. Spring will still be here soon enough. I hope! :)
