Alaska Land

There's nothing new in Alaska land. Mt. Redoubt erupted again last night around 11:00 pm but I didn't see any additional ash this morning. We did get a couple inches of snow, and for once this spring I'm happy about that. The snow is back to white again instead of gray and the wetness soaks up the ash and keeps it from getting airborn again.

Tim's truck had transmission problems last week; we took it to the shop that treated me so well a month ago, and they've already got it fixed. We can pick it up tomorrow.

It's so nice to have two vehicles. We could do without (especially since we work at the same location) but it's so nice to have your own car and go where you want when you want.

Maybe something interesting will happen tomorrow. Let's just hope it's not ash.

Wow, that was a fast fix on the truck. It nice to have 2 cars, You and T. don't have the same hours and are off on diiferent days so it might as well be a different place.

R and I have two different cars, but could easily just have one. The 'spare' car is the first car I ever bought and it barely runs, but it's there in emergencies (and the kiddo has never ridden in it). Actually, I shouldn't say it barely runs; it's 12 years old and has over 160,000 miles. :) It's a good little car.

Glad the ash isn't causing too much grief and that the snowfall helped.

I got your pkg from Kris. Thanks. I will really enjoy them. My bathroom is black and white with some red. I might frame one of the cards and hang it in there. I just have to decide which animal to pick.

Thanks again!

Cheer up Patty, tomorrow is April 1. Any snow you get should start to melt faster now. If all else fails, just take a picture of the beautiful mountains around Anchorage. We never get tired of the mountain pictures.

patty, what shop do you take your truck to? It would be nice to have somewhere reliable to work on my explorer.
