Mighty Oak

This is a beautiful Oak tree on the back property line of Kris' land. I saw these everywhere but am always amazed at how beautiful they are. Can you imagine it dressed in fall colors? Next year I will have to travel down during fall instead of beginning of winter to see the colors. And spring...I really enjoyed being there. It snowed most of the days I was there even though none of it stuck, yet. I came home to a couple inches of snow though.
As we drove all over the western half of Wisconsin, Kris repeatedly pointed out to me all the deer family lawn ornaments that were in yards. There are a lot of them. Some laying down, some in groupings, on alert looking at passing cars.
What I thought you'd like to know is that Kris has a lawn ornament of her own. Hers is a concrete cow that will not be moved. She's here to stay.
