End of Summer

It is officially the end of summer. The fireweed is spent and gone to seed.
This is a similar shot of the mountain that I posted about a week ago but the skys are clear so you can see it better.
Final pic is a more panaramic view of the same mountains, but for all you old Anchorageites out there, you can see Flat Top on the far right! Isn't that exciting? Does it bring back fond memories of huffing and puffing your way to the top? I have great memories of climbing Flat Top, most often with our youth group from church while I was in my teens. I think I've climbed it once since, as an adult.

Yep, I have climbed it 2 times. 1st time with a youth group and then one time when we just came back from the sailboat trip and lived at the Umlufs. I climed it by myself with their dog piper.
I see that you have a chance of snow in your forcast! ha ha
