The Cutest Puppy Ever!

I believe this is the cutest puppy, ever, in the history of mankind. Although the dachshund puppies we had were pretty close seconds. Most of our dogs have come to us by default and most of them I haven't chosen as puppies.

My first dog, Snicker, I brought home from the pet shop where I worked because nobody wanted her. She sat in the back of her kennel and growled at people who looked at her. She was already about 5 or 6 months old when I took her home.

Pepsi was a stray that was brought into the Veterinary Clinic where I worked. Again, nobody else wanted her. She was adopted out a couple times but people kept bringing her back because she was too "high energy" for them. That should have clued me in, but I had already named her in my mind (which everyone at work told me not to do, because once you name them you can't give them up). It was true. I took her home.

MaryAnn came to us because a family member could no longer keep her. She was already an adult. Roxy was a problem dog in another household and came to us to save her from the pound. Both of our dachshunds were puppies when we got them and they were very cute, but not quite as cute as Panda. Plus they were family dogs, not my very own.

Panda I actually picked out after my dog Pepsi had to be put to sleep because of cancer. I couldn't stand being without my own dog, so we drove up to the Wasilla Puppy Rescue (Yes, this is where our Vice Presidential hopeful, Sarah Palin is from) where I chose her and brought her home.

I still really like her. She's the perfect outdoor dog, loves to run with the snow machines and 4-wheelers, loves to swim in the lake and mosquitos don't bother her a bit.

She's a little on the furry side and we have a lot of pet hair accumulating on the floor, but other than that, she's a pretty good dog.

I'm not really a dog person, but after reading your stories about your dogs and seeing their pictures, I've fallen for your creatures! I just want to come over and give them all a big hug, maybe give um a bone too, hee, hee!

Ok, I kind of miss your dogs right now. MaryAnn with her block head and always trying to get you to pet her butt.
