Sunday Sketching


Today I sketched John H. He sat very still and was at a good angle to draw. Something is wrong with his nose/mustache area, but otherwise I think it looks quite a bit like him. I actually think his nose is a bit bigger.

When I get home and notice what isn't right it makes me want to go back and erase and fix, but then I don't have my subject in front of me so I don't know what to do to fix it. I need to be more observant earlier.

    I think this is a good portrait Patty. Of course I don't know the fellow. It is good anyway.

    I think this is your best yet. It looks exactly like him. I will check out his nose when I next see him!
